At Sassi Furniture, we are committed to providing a smooth and reliable delivery experience for all our customers across Australia. This policy explains our process, timelines, charges, and terms so you know exactly what to expect when shopping with us.
1. Order Processing
- Orders are processed within 1β3 business days once payment is confirmed.
- You will receive an Order Confirmation Email with purchase details.
- Once prepared for delivery, we will send a Delivery Confirmation Email and follow up with a phone call to confirm your delivery date.
Note: Processing may take longer during peak seasons or promotions.
2. Delivery Timeframes
Currently, delivery is offered exclusively within the Gladstone Region with free delivery via our store truck to:
- Gladstone
- Calliope
- Tannum Sands
- Boyne Island
- Benaraby
- Wurdong Heights
For deliveries to Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Biloela, Agnes Water, and the 1770 area:
- Delivery charges may apply
- Timeframes depend on truck availability
π« We cannot service areas outside the above regions. Customers outside coverage must arrange their own transport at their expense. Our team will assist where possible in arranging third-party transport.
3. Delivery Charges
- In-store pickup: Free from 69 Hanson Rd, Gladstone QLD (requires 24 hoursβ notice).
- Gladstone Region: Free delivery via our store truck to the areas listed above.
- Outside Gladstone Region: Delivery fees apply and will be issued at checkout.
4. Delivery Restrictions
- Some bulky furniture items may not be deliverable to remote or difficult-to-access locations.
- If delivery is not possible, we will contact you to arrange alternatives or issue a full refund.
- Customers must ensure large items will fit through doorways, hallways, and staircases before purchasing.
5. Receiving Your Delivery
- Signature Required: A signature may be required on delivery.
- If Youβre Not Home: Items may be left in a safe place if prior authority has been given.
- Missed Deliveries: Additional fees may apply for redelivery.
6. Damaged or Missing Items
We take great care to ensure your order arrives safely. If issues occur:
Damaged Items
- Inspect items upon delivery.
- Take clear photos of the product and packaging.
- Report damages within 48 hours.

7. Tracking Your Order
For larger furniture deliveries, our team or delivery partner will contact you directly to arrange a suitable date and time.

Sassi Furniture is not responsible for delays due to:
- Severe weather events
- Natural disasters
- Industrial strikes
- Carrier delays
- Government restrictions (e.g., health emergencies)
